Titan, the God of Thunder, is waiting for you at the top of Windsong Peaks right after you solve the lightning puzzle in Ancient Barrier. The fight has two regular phases and a final “gigantic” form in which normal attacks don’t work: you have to hit exposed skin or climb up to his neck. Here is the full walkthrough.
What to bring
Titan punishes every mistake with electric damage that takes huge chunks of health. Preparation decides the outcome before the fight even starts.
- Palmar Pills: without them you won’t get back up after going down. Bring more than seems reasonable.
- Meat Skewers or Braised Meat: they restore health as well as Spirit, which you need for strong attacks.
- Turning Slash (R1 + R2): you’re invulnerable during the animation. Against the lightning, it’s the most valuable ability in the whole fight.
- Stamina at level 10 or higher: the whole fight is about movement. With low stamina you can’t dodge in time, and in the finale you can’t climb either.
Phase 1: the warm-up
In the first phase, Titan stays in his human (if giant) form and moves slowly. Deal damage by combining Turning Slash with the Blinding Flash finisher (L1 + R1 + R2).
Only attack in two situations: when he winds up for a slow spear attack, and when he pauses between combos. If you get too close, he’ll try to stomp; a simple roll is enough.
Phase 2: electric overload
The strategy stays the same; Titan is just more aggressive. Use Focus between attacks so you have enough Spirit for the next Turning Slash.
The key moment of this phase: Titan regularly becomes invulnerable and floods the arena with lightning. Watch the ground. Glowing blue areas appear early enough for you to dodge out of them. If a strike does catch you, heal immediately, because a second one will put you down.
The good news: if you die in this phase, the game lets you continue from the gigantic form instead of restarting the whole fight.
Gigantified Titan: two approaches
In the finale, Titan transforms into a colossal armored monster. Regular attacks do nothing to him, and that’s the most common reason people give up on the fight.
Method A: stay on the ground (recommended)
Climbing is technically unreliable in the current version, so fighting from below is the safer option:
- Roll away from the spear strikes until Titan slams his fist into the ground.
- Run around the armored fist to the side with exposed skin.
- Hit only the skin, using R2 attacks and Turning Slash. That’s the only way to drain his health and eventually stun him.
Method B: climb to the weak spot
If you’re confident in your parkour, this is faster:
- When his fist is on the ground, climb onto the gauntlet and hold on with R2.
- As soon as the hand steadies, run up to his left arm and jump with Triple Force Palm to get onto his back.
- On the back of his neck you’ll find a weak spot covered by chains. Break the chains, stab the weak spot, and Titan goes down immediately.
